Day of Service
Each year AAAH and The ReBuilding Center partner with teams of community volunteers to provide free home repairs, yard maintenance, and bulky waste removal for our neighbors in NxNE Portland. This year's event will be held Saturday, August 17th from 9am-2pm at the homes of 5-10 residents in the North or Northeast Portland area. Projects range from gardening, power washing, painting, tree-trimming, minor plumbing and electrical, installing handrails, building planter boxes, debris removal, garage clean-outs, and more!
Priority consideration will be given to our most at-risk neighbors experiencing one or more of the following factors: Are BIPOC, age 55+, have a medical or disabling condition, living alone, or with children under the age of 5.

Criteria and Selection Requirements:
· Home must be owner-occupied
· Household income must be 80% or below of Portland’s Median Family Income
by household size

· Home must be located in N/NE Portland
· Home can not currently be on the market for sale
